Who we are

At Magnolia Family Health we are a locally owned and operated clinic founded by sisters, Taylor LaPorte, FNP-C and Katherine LeBlanc, Office Manager.

From our family to yours; Welcome to Magnolia Family Health, where you will always be treated like family.

Taylor LaPorte is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Magnolia Family Health. She is proud to care for the community she grew up in and calls home.

Taylor is a graduate of North Vermilion High School and was raised in Maurice, Louisiana. She began her nursing career at LSUE, earning her Associate Degree in Nursing in May of 2018. Following graduation, she worked in the Intensive Care Unit at Lourdes, where she developed a strong clinical foundation caring for patients with complex medical needs.

While working full time in the ICU, Taylor continued her education, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Nicholls State University, graduating in 2023.

Taylor is passionate about providing thoughtful, patient-centered care and believes in building long-term relationships with her patients. Her approach focuses on listening, education, prevention, and partnering with patients to support their overall health and wellness.

Outside of the clinic, Taylor is a wife and mother of two boys. She is married to her husband, Mark LaPorte, and enjoys raising her family in the same community she now has the privilege of serving.
